Abstract:
A purpose of the present invention is to provide a dental model trimmer concurrently used for center trimming, which improves a traditional dental model trimmer to enable a single model trimmer to trim both external sides and center of a dental model by using the whole surface and the width of a trimming wheel. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a dental model trimmer concurrently used for center trimming, which can ensure the sufficient trimming hardness of the trimming wheel by electrodepositing diamond on the trimming wheel. In order to achieve these purposes, the dental model trimmer concurrently used for center trimming according to the present invention comprises a drive motor and a trimming wheel actuated by the drive motor, wherein a space is formed between the trimming wheel and the drive motor so that the central portion of the dental model can be trimmed, and wherein the drive motor further comprises a support plate capable of supporting the dental model in the lateral and thickness directions of the trimming wheel.
