A dental polishing prophy angle, comprising a housing (1), a transmission assembly (2), a limiting member I (3), a limiting member II (4), and a polishing cup (5), wherein the transmission assembly (2) comprises a transmission rod I (201) and a transmission rod II (202); one end of the transmission rod II (202) is hinged to the transmission rod I (201); the polishing cup (5) is mounted at the other end of the transmission rod II; and the limiting member I (3) is sleeved between the transmission rod I (201) and an inner wall of the housing (1), and the limiting member II (4) is sleeved between the transmission rod II (202) and the inner wall of the housing (1), so as to achieve a limiting effect, thereby preventing the transmission rod I (201) from falling off. In the dental polishing prophy angle, the manner in which the limiting member I (3) is engaged with the housing (1) to achieve fixation is used, thereby simplifying the mounting steps; and the transmission rod I (201) and the transmission rod II (202) are engaged with each other by using a bevel gear, such that a transmission effect is achieved, and a limiting effect is also achieved by means of a gear structure, thereby preventing the transmission rod II (202) from falling off, reducing mounting accessories for fixation, and reducing the production costs.
