Abstract:
A dental-use oral suction arm (1) has multiple degrees of freedom and includes a plurality of arms (11-15) having disposed on the tip of each a head (5) having an air suction opening (19) on the tip surface thereof. The head (5) comprises: a cylindrical inner cover (52); a mesh cup (6) constituted of a cylindrical cup base section (61) that can be inserted into the inner cover (52) and a bottom section (62) having a mesh section (6b) provided on one end of the cup base section (61); a cylindrical sound absorption member (7) that is installed on the inside of the cup base section (61); and a hood (53) that has an intake air guide section (532) that serves as the suction opening (19), and is attached to the tip of the inner cover (52). The mesh cup (6) is inserted into the inner cover (52) in an orientation such that the mesh section (6b) is at the back in a state where the sound absorption member (7) is installed on the cup base section (61). The end section of the intake air guide section (532) is positioned so as to interfere, in the radial direction, with an end section opposite to the bottom section (62) of the sound absorption member (7) installed on the mesh cup.
