Abstract:
A descaling system is provided with: a plurality of descaling headers provided on a rolling line; a common pipe (28) connected to each of the plurality of descaling headers; connection pipes (43) for connecting to the common pipe; pumps (40) connected to the connection pipes and supplying high-pressure water to each of the plurality of descaling headers via the connection pipes and the common pipe; a drive device (42) for controlling the driving of the pumps; branch pipes (44) connected to the connection pipes; valves (45) provided in the branch pipes and controlling the opening and closing of the branch pipes; and a control device that includes a protection unit for controlling the opening and closing of the valves according to a manipulated variable for the valves determined on the basis of common pipe pressure information, position information for material being rolled, and material information for material being rolled.
