Abstract:
The present invention relates to a descending life line comprising: a first winding part (4) inside a case, around which a wire rope (102) is wound; a second winding part (5) above the first winding part (4), for rotating so that the wire rope (102) unwound from the first winding part (4) can be rewound in order to generate a braking force; and a deceleration device (10) on both sides of the first and second winding parts (4) (5), for controlling the descending speed of a descending life line (100) by reducing the rotation speed of the second winding part (5) by means of the braking force generated by the rotation of the second winding part (5) when the wire rope (102) is unwound due to the descent of the descending life line (100). The present invention comprises an operation lever (40) in the upper part of the case, for controlling the descending speed of the descending life line (100) by controlling the rotation speed of the second winding part (5) by means of operation by an escapee when descending using the descending life line (100). Therefore, the present invention can: prevent an accident by simplifying the structure of the descending life line (100) so that, in an emergency, an escapee can easily operate the descending life line (100) without confusion and descend to the ground; allow an escapee to easily adjust the speed while descending when using the descending life line (100); increase safety of use of the descending life line (100), as operations such as speed adjustment and stopping can be carried out quickly while descending in response to various dangerous situations that can occur during a descent; and be reusable by rewinding the unwound wire rope (102) after using the descending life line (100) and not allowing the wound wire rope (102) to unwind.
