Abstract:
Provided is a design assist device for assisting with design of a power supply system in which power from a power supply and a capacitor connected in parallel is distributed to a plurality of load devices through a power supply line in which a plurality of power cables are combined, the design assist device comprising: a calculation means that calculates time-series data of a current flowing through the capacitor on the basis of configuration information indicating an overall configuration of the power supply line and operation pattern information indicating an operation pattern of each of the plurality of load devices, and calculates a recommended capacity, which is a capacity recommended as the capacity of the capacitor, on the basis of the time-series data of the current; and an output means that at least outputs information on the recommended capacity of the capacitor.
