Abstract:
A design assistance device (10) comprises a behavior model generation unit (24) that outputs a behavior model (25) for calculating the behavior of a design subject from external input applied to the shape of the design subject, the output performed on the basis of: shape numerical information (18) obtained by reducing the quantity of shape information from shape information (15) of the design subject; and boundary numerical information (23) obtained by reducing the quantity of boundary condition information from boundary condition information (21) of the design subject.
