Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a method for designing an optimal delivery preparation by utilizing a simple experiment/assay and a delivery medium produced by the method. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A method for production of a delivery medium for use in the delivery of a desired substance to a desired site, the method comprising the steps of: A) determining the in vitro affinity of a delivery medium candidate to a cell surface molecule associated with the desired site (e.g., lectin); and B) selecting a delivery medium having an in vitro affinity corresponding to the delivery to the desired site.
