Abstract:
A desk (1) of the height-adjustable top panel type has: a pair of legs each having a lower support body (8), an upper support body (9), and a height-adjustment mechanism unit (5) for extendably/contractably connecting the lower support bodies (8) and the upper support bodies (9); a connecting member (3) for connecting the upper support bodies (9) to one another; a top panel (4); and a control unit (6) for controlling the height-adjustment mechanism unit (5). Furthermore: the control unit (6) is positioned on the undersurface-side of the top panel (4); an operation unit (7) for inputting a raising/lowering operation signal for the height-adjustment mechanism unit (5) is connected to the control unit (6) via an operation-unit wiring cable (15), and is positioned on the undersurface-side of the top panel (4) in the front edge section thereof; an upper arm (11) for supporting the undersurface of the top panel (4) and provided on the upper end of the upper support body (9) extends in the front-rear direction; and the operation-unit wiring cable (15) is positioned inside the upper arm (11).
