Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a desktop displaying method, the desktop displaying method comprising: when a desktop switching instruction based on a smart television is detected, setting the state of a first application identity associated with the desktop to be switched as "hide", and setting the state of a second application identity associated with a switch target desktop as "display"; and switching the smart television to the switch target desktop, and loading, on the switch target desktop, the application identify of which the current state is "display". Further disclosed in the present invention is a desktop display device. The present invention can improve the desktop display effect of a smart television.
