Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a detachable connector which is to be used between a facepiece and a filter of a respirator and has a push-and-twist bayonet-type connection mechanism in a manner such that the filter can be effectively prevented from separating from the facepiece accidentally or mistakenly. [Solution] The detachable connector to be used between a facepiece and a filter of a respirator has a push-and-twist bayonet-type connection mechanism and a locking mechanism in which a pin fits into a hole of an elastic body. When connecting the filter, the connection operation of the bayonet-type connection mechanism and the locking operation of the locking mechanism are synchronized so that the filter is connected and locked at the same time. When removing the filter, the unlocking operation of the locking mechanism precedes the disconnection operation of the bayonet-type connection mechanism so that the filter is unlocked and then disconnected.
