Abstract:
This detachment device for a coating-resin layer of a rectangular wire obtained by coating the outside of a metal conductor having rectangular cross-sectional shape with the coating-resin layer, includes: a processing blade that detaches the coating-resin layer; a jig that holds the rectangular wire; and a position detection means that detects the position of the edge of the processing blade with respect to a surface of the metal conductor. The detachment device for the rectangular wire coating-resin layer causes the edge of the processing blade to enter the coating-resin layer so as to reach a predetermined thickness position therein, causes the processing blade and the rectangular wire to move relative to each other in the longitudinal direction of the rectangular wire without any contact with the metal conductor, and performs a detachment process on the coating-resin layer.
