Abstract:
A light source (11) of a disguising mask detecting device (1) radiates light onto a subject, which is a person. A camera (12) acquires, from reflected light originating from the light radiated at the person, a plurality of images in different wavelength regions. A face-detecting unit (172) detects the face region of the person from each image acquired by the camera (12). A determining unit (173) determines that the person is wearing a disguising mask if the luminances of the face regions in each image satisfy specific relationships that differ from the relationships exhibited by skin.
