Abstract:
This detection apparatus has a temperature adjustment unit that adjusts the temperature of a fluid device, an imaging unit that shines excitation light at the fluid device and captures an image of fluorescence emitted from the fluid device, and a transport unit that transports the fluid device to the temperature adjustment unit and the imaging unit. The fluid device houses a mixed aqueous solution of: a liquid sample that includes a target substance; and a detection reagent that reacts with the target substance to form a product that emits fluorescence. The temperature adjustment unit has: a heating unit that heats the fluid device; and a cooling unit that cools the heated fluid device.
