Abstract:
A detection circuit and detection method for an On-The-Go device, and a terminal, for solving the problem of an inaccurate detection result existing in existing OTG device detection solutions. The detection circuit comprises: a detection unit, a detection terminal and a detection chip, wherein the detection unit comprises a voltage source and a first resistor connected in series, the voltage source is used for generating a first voltage, and the first resistor is used for dividing the first voltage so as to obtain a second voltage; the detection terminal is connected to an external device and the detection unit and is used for providing a connection interface between the detection circuit and the external device; and the detection chip is connected to the first resistor and is used for determining, when the second voltage is less than a set voltage, that the external device is an OTG device.
