Abstract:
A first detection circuit is provided comprising an optocoupler having an input for receiving an electrical signal and an output to which the electrical signal is transferred from the input; amplification means for amplifying the electrical signal, the amplification means having an input connected to the optocoupler output and an output to which the amplified signal is passed; and a relay connected to the output of the amplification means, the relay adapted to make or break an external circuit when driven by the amplified signal. A second detection circuit is also provided, comprising a first electrode for receiving an electrical signal when submerged in a conductive medium; amplification means for amplifying the electrical signal, the amplification means having an input connected to the first electrode and an output to which the amplified signal is passed; a monostable switch having an input connected to the output of the amplification means and an output responsive to the state of the input; and a relay connected to the output of monostable switch, the relay adapted to make or break an external circuit when driven by the output of the monostable switch.
