Abstract:
Main detection elements (131, 231) detect a physical quantity that changes in accordance with the rotation of a object to be detected (875). Sub detection elements (132, 232) detect a physical quantity that changes in accordance with the rotation of the object to be detected. Signal processing units (140, 240) output main rotation information, which is information according to the detection value from the main detection elements, and sub rotation information, which is information according to the detection value from the sub detection elements. Packages (351-360) seal the main detection elements, the sub detection elements, and the signal processing units. The centers of all the main detection elements and sub detection elements are arranged at a position shifted from the detection center of the object to be detected. The main detection elements are arranged at a site closer to the detection center than the sub detection elements. The centers of the packages are arranged at a position offset from the detection center.
