Abstract:
A detection device that is provided inside a door handle which is for a vehicle and which has an inner case, the detection device comprising: a base part that has a longitudinal shape extending in the longitudinal direction of the door handle, is provided and fixed with respect to the inner case, and is deformed when pressure is applied to the inner case; a displacement member that has a long shape extending in the longitudinal direction of the door handle, that opposes the base part, that has one end or both ends connected to the base part, and that has a displacement part that is displaced relative to the base part when the base part is deformed; and a sensor that detects displacement of the displacement part.
