Abstract:
The present invention provides a detection device (10) for an elevator, which detects the amount of wear of a rope groove, the detection device reducing measurement work in a narrow space between a rope sheave (7) and a deflector sheave (8) and improving the efficiency of measurement work.
This detection device (10) for an elevator, which detects the amount of wear of a rope groove, is provided with: a detection rod (14) disposed so that the detection rod (14) can pivot about a rotation shaft (13) parallel to the shaft of the rope sheave (7), and so that one end side of the detection rod (14) can be inserted into a portion of the rope groove (7a) of the rope sheave (7), the portion facing the deflector sheave (8), the detection rod (14) being configured so that the amount of pivoting thereof when the one end side is pressed against the rope groove (7a) will change according to the amount of wear of the rope groove; and an abnormal wear detection section for detecting that the amount of pivoting of the detection rod (14) from the position to which the detection rod (14) pivots when the rope groove (7a) has not worn has reached an abnormal wear pivot amount.
