Abstract:
This detection device is a detection device for detecting an unauthorized message in an in-vehicle network installed in a vehicle, comprising: a message acquisition unit that acquires a transmission message in the in-vehicle network; and an evaluation unit that performs evaluation relating to an unauthorized message in the in-vehicle network by performing evaluation of the transmission message acquired by the message acquisition unit. In addition to a first evaluation result for whether the transmission message acquired by the message acquisition unit is the unauthorized message, the evaluation unit is capable of outputting a second evaluation result in relation to the transmission message.
