Abstract:
A detection device (1, 1AA, 1BB, 1CC, 1EE) that comprises: a photography unit (11, 11C, 11E) that captures an image; an extraction unit (121, 121A, 121B, 121C, 121E) that uses a first frame to extract, from the captured image, an image of a region that includes a person and uses a second frame to extract, from the captured image, an image of a region that includes a securing apparatus for securing the person; and a determination unit (12, 12A, 12B, 12C, 12E) that, when the first frame and the second frame have been extracted, determines, on the basis of the overlap between the image for the first frame and the image for the second frame, whether the person is wearing the securing apparatus.
