Abstract:
A detection system (120) is provided with an image-capturing unit (2); a detection unit (31) for detecting whether or not a person exists; an assessment unit (34) for assessing, on the basis of the detection result of the detection unit (31), whether or not a person exists in the area of an analysis image; a derivation unit (33) for deriving an area in which the amount of a luminance change in a prescribed period (T1) in the analysis image is greater than or equal to a first threshold (S1); and a determination unit (35) for determining that there is an abnormality when the size of the area derived by the derivation unit (33) is larger than or equal to a second threshold (S2). The assessment unit (34) has a detection device (100) which, when the determination unit (35) determines that there is an abnormality, does not adopt the detection result of the detection unit (31) in a prescribed period (T2), a transmission unit (4) for transmitting, on the basis of the result of assessment by the assessment unit (34) of whether or not a person exists, a control signal to an object to be controlled, and a load (5) that is the object to be controlled.
