Abstract:
When a request signal is received, this detection device detects an air pressure of a tire provided on a vehicle and transmits an air pressure signal including information on the air pressure obtained by the detection. The detection device is provided with: a receiving unit which periodically operates by switching a first state in which the request signal can be received and a second state in which consumption power is lower than that in the first state and the request signal is not received, and receives the request signal in the first state; and a control unit which changes a switching frequency to the first state.
