Abstract:
The present invention provides a detection system whereby a virus or the like can be effectively detected in order to suppress the spread of infectious disease by the virus or the like. This detection system (1) is provided with an autonomous collection device (2) for autonomously moving on a floor surface and collecting an object on the floor surface, and a station device (5) for detecting a substance to be detected from the object collected from the floor surface by the autonomous collection device. The autonomous collection device is provided with a moving unit (15) for moving on the floor surface, a primary electric blower (13) for suctioning an object on the floor surface, and a dust receptacle (12) for accumulating suctioned objects. The station device is provided with a transfer pipe (25) fluidly connected to the dust receptacle of the autonomous collection device when the autonomous collection device is positioned in a homing position, and a virus detection unit (68) for detecting the substance to be detected from the object transferred from the dust receptacle via the transfer pipe.
