Abstract:
Disclosed is a detection device (D1) for detecting detectable objects (J) which are fitted with electromagnetically detectable identification means (JD), are advantageously arranged in a stack and are placed on a horizontal detection area, the detection device (D1) comprising an emitting antenna (Ae1) that has a resonant frequency and generates an electromagnetic field having a gross range with a horizontal coverage that covers the horizontal detection area as well as a vertical component, characterized in that the detection device further comprises a passive antenna (Ap1) that has the same resonant frequency as the emitting antenna (Ae1) so as to be excited by the electromagnetic field of the emitting antenna (Ae1) and generate a combined electromagnetic field having a combined range that has the desired form, the vertical component of which is greater than the gross range of the emitting antenna (Ae1) and which has a horizontal coverage that continues to cover the horizontal detection area substantially in the same way.
