Title:
DETECTION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/239787
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A detection device and detection method are provided which enable detecting the arrival of the target without burdening the user with configuring a threshold value in accordance with the use state. The detection device 10 is provided with: a measurement unit 11 which is a measurement device for detecting the arrival of a target in a detection range on the basis of a signal value that corresponds to a physical quantity having a value which changes depending on whether or not the target 100 has arrived in the detection range 10a, and converts the physical quantities to sequential signal values; a storage unit 12 which has a storage region for storing a prescribed number of signal values, ordered in the order acquired from the measurement unit, and which, at a first period, updates the stored prescribed number of signal values by means of the signal values newly acquired from the measurement unit; and a determination unit 13 which, with a frequency of once every time updating is performed one or multiple times, determines whether or not the target has arrived in the detection range on the basis of whether or not a determination condition is satisfied, wherein said determination condition is for determining whether or not those of the signal values stored in the storage unit that are in multiple prescribed positions in the ordering correspond to signal values which configure a rising waveform or a falling waveform.
