Abstract:
A detection device 1 comprises: a photoelectric conversion element 30; a source follower transistor Msf for outputting a signal that corresponds to the electric charge generated in the photoelectric conversion element 30; a read-out transistor Mrd for reading out the output signal of the source follower transistor Msf and outputting a detection signal Vdet; a first reset transistor Mrst1 for supplying or cutting off a reference potential VCOM to or from the cathode of the photoelectric conversion element 30; a second reset transistor Mrst2 for electrically connecting or disconnecting the connection between the anode of the photoelectric conversion element 30 and the connection point of the source follower transistor Msf and the read-out transistor Mrd; and a cancel transistor Mcan for supplying or cutting off the reference potential VCOM to or from the anode of the photoelectric conversion element 30. A potential (=VCOM+Vthsf) obtained by superimposing at least a threshold voltage Vthsf of the source follower transistor Msf on the reference potential VCOM is set as the initial value of the potential applied to the cathode of the photoelectric conversion element 30.
