Abstract:
A detection method and device for detecting a fingerprint. The method comprises: S1: detecting, by a fingerprint detection device comprising a detection electrode, the capacitance value on the detection electrode (S101); S2: when the capacitance value exceeds a preset capacitance threshold value, starting some detection units of a fingerprint detection array to conduct fingerprint pre-detection, so as to acquire data information about the fingerprint pre-detection (S102); and S3: when the data information exceeds a first preset threshold value, starting all the detection units of the fingerprint detection array to conduct fingerprint scanning (S103). The detection method for detecting a fingerprint realizes a fingerprint detection array being started to conduct full array fingerprint scanning after it is reliably and effectively recognized that a finger touches a fingerprint detection device, thereby greatly reducing the power consumption of the fingerprint detection.
