Abstract:
With respect to a detection chip that includes a housing part for housing therein a liquid and having an opening, and an elastic sheet covering said opening and having a penetrating part connecting the interior and exterior of the housing part, a liquid-feeding nozzle is inserted into the housing part via the penetrating part, and a liquid is provided into the housing part in a state where the nozzle is in contact with the elastic sheet so as to close the penetrating part. The penetrating part is formed by a hole or a slit. The maximum length of the opening of the hole, or the maximum length of the slit, is smaller than the outer diameter of the nozzle in a section that contacts the elastic sheet when the nozzle is inserted so as to close the penetrating part at the time of providing the liquid into the housing part.
