Title:
DETECTION METHOD AND DETECTION DEVICE FOR LIQUID LEVEL HEIGHT OF LIQUID, DETECTION METHOD AND DETECTION DEVICE FOR LIQUID LEVEL HEIGHT OF MOLTEN MATERIAL, AND OPERATION METHOD FOR VERTICAL FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/168557
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are: a detection method for the liquid level height of a molten material, said method making it possible to detect the liquid level height of the molten material with high accuracy from a residual amount of the molten material; and an operation method for a vertical furnace that uses said detection method. This detection method detects a liquid level height of a molten material remaining in a furnace bottom part after the molten material has been discharged in a vertical furnace in which an oxygen-containing gas is blown in from a furnace lower part of the vertical furnace, carbon is combusted to generate a high-temperature reducing gas, the molten material is produced by using the high-temperature reducing gas to melt and reduce an iron source raw material which is loaded from a furnace top of the vertical furnace and forms a solid-state filling structure inside the vertical furnace, and the molten material is discharged from a tap hole of the vertical furnace, wherein the porosity of the solid-state filling structure is calculated, and the liquid level height of the molten material after the molten material has been discharged is detected using the calculated porosity and the residual amount of the molten material after discharge.
