Title:
DETECTION METHOD FOR NUCLEIC ACID
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/007571
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
It is intended to provide a method for detecting a target nucleic acid efficiently and simply with a high accuracy using a polymerase chain reaction. The detection method for a nucleic acid in which multiple target regions in a nucleic acid sample are simultaneously amplified by the polymerase chain reaction method using a pair of primers for each of the target regions and the obtained amplified products of the multiple target regions are detected by electrophoresis, characterized in that primers of the primer pairs all consist of different nucleotide sequences, a molecular weight regulator is bound to at least either one of the primers of at least one of the primer pairs, the total molecular weight of the bound molecular weight regulator is different among the respective primer pairs and the migration distance of the multiple amplified products in the electrophoresis is different from one another. As the molecular weight regulator, a sugar chain is preferred.
