Abstract:
A detection method of the state of a bearing device comprising an outer member, an inner member, and a plurality of rolling bodies, wherein while the bearing device is being applied a given load, an AC voltage is applied on an electric circuit formed by the outer member, the inner member, and the plurality of rolling bodies, then the impedance and the phase angle in the electric circuit under the applied AC voltage are measured, and on the basis of the impedance and the phase angle, an oil film thickness and a metal contact ratio between the inner member and the plurality of rolling bodies or between the inner member and at least one of the plurality of rolling bodies are calculated.
