Abstract:
This detector (20) comprises a detection unit (21) including: one or more transmitting elements (22) that transmit FMCW transmission electromagnetic waves; two or more receiving elements (23) that receive reflected electromagnetic waves obtained by the transmission electromagnetic waves being reflected by an object; a calculation unit (24) that calculates the distance to the object and the arrival angle of the reflected electromagnetic waves by using the transmission electromagnetic waves and the reflected electromagnetic waves; and a position determination unit (25) that calculates the position of the object by using the distance and the arrival angle. The detector (20) further comprises a detection area setting unit (26) that sets a predetermined area, including the position as a detection area, within a detectable range in which the object can be detected, and detects the detection area set by the detection area setting unit (26).
