Abstract:
In a transmission (1) provided with an actuator (6) for moving a shift rod (10), a pressing part (14) for pressing the shift rod (10), and recesses (11-13) for generating resistance to the movement of the shift rod (10) by engaging with a portion of the pressing part (14), the present invention is a detent position-estimating device (5) for estimating a detent position at which the shift rod (10) is locked as a result of the pressing part (14) engaging with a recess (11-13). The detent position-estimating device is configured so as to comprise: a displacement sensor (55) for detecting the position of the shift rod (10); a hydraulic control section (51) for controlling the thrust of the actuator (6) so as to be smaller than the resistance; and a position estimation control section (53) for estimating the detent position to be the position detected by the displacement sensor (55) when thrust is controlled to be smaller than the resistance and shift rod movement is stopped.
