Abstract:

A method for computing a deterioration state, wherein the method comprises computing the deterioration state of a battery by: computing a first deterioration state of the battery for each prescribed period on the basis of the time elapsed from the start of use of the battery and the amount of charging and discharging of the battery; computing a second deterioration state of the battery on the basis of the amount of change in the state of charge of the battery and the amount of change in the current of the battery; performing a computation process to compute the second deterioration state, the computation process being performed a plurality of times within a prescribed period; computing the degree of reliability of the computation of the second deterioration state for each of the plurality of second deterioration states; computing a deterioration state correction value on the basis of the second deterioration state that has a degree of reliability equal to or greater than a prescribed degree of reliability; and correcting the first deterioration state using the correction value.
