Abstract:
The present invention enables, in a multiple optical-axis photoelectric sensor, the cause of a malfunction in the output of a light reception element to be determined. A multiple optical-axis photoelectric sensor (1) is configured so as to determine that electrical noise is being generated upon the occurrence of an output malfunction in both of two light-reception capable periods (Ts) which are adjacent in one light-reception cycle (Tc).
