Abstract:
A determination method for interface photoelectron migration and material photocatalytic activity and a four-dimensional micro-imaging analyzer are provided. The four-dimensional micro-imaging analyzer comprises a sample target (1), a laser device (2), a slit (3), an extraction electrode (4), a hexapole (5), a quadrupole (6), a time-of-flight mass analyzer (7), a detector (8), and a device (9) for supplying voltage to the sample target (1), the slit (3), the extraction electrode (4), and the hexapole (5). The method exploits the tunneling effect generated on photogenerated electrons by a semiconductor material under laser irradiation, as well as the capture principle for electron acceptor modules, to determine the mass-to-charge ratio and ion signal intensity of interface migration photogenerated electrons captured by the electron acceptor modules, or of the product of a photochemical reaction induced by the electron acceptor modules capturing interface migration photogenerated electrons, thus obtaining photocatalytically active sites, and, via image reconstruction, obtaining microscopic imaging of the photocatalytically active sites. In the present invention photocatalytically active sites of semiconductor materials can be determined, while at the same time, the degree of difficulty of a photochemical reaction occurring on electron acceptor modules and the product of such a photochemical reaction can be determined.
