Abstract:
This determining device of a determining system: selects, from imaging data acquired by an imaging data acquiring device, a determination region included in a captured image; extracts a preset target color determination image from the selected determination region; acquires reference binarized data obtained by binarizing the determination image by binarizing target color gradation data of a plurality of pixel regions constituting the extracted determination image, with reference to a binarization threshold suitable for each determination region; acquires converted gradation data obtained by converting, in relation to a dark portion of the determination image, the target color gradation data of the plurality of pixel regions constituting the extracted determination image; acquires comparison binarized data by binarizing, with reference to the binarization threshold, the converted gradation data that have been acquired; and acquires a determination value for determining the printing method of a printed surface of printed matter, on the basis of a comparison result obtained by comparing the reference binarized data and the comparison binarized data.
