Abstract:
Provided is a deticking method and a method for preventing the infestation of ticks, in each of which a novel fungus belonging to the genus Trichoderma is used. A deticking method characterized by allowing a suspension of spores of a fungus to act on ticks and/or a habitat of ticks, wherein the fungus has a deticking ability, belongs to Trichoderma Atroviride, is isolated from a processed green tuff, and has accession number NITE P-1419.
