Abstract:

A detonation coating device comprises a barrel (1) open at one end, a gas feeding system (3), a blast initiating assembly (4) and a powder batch metering unit consisting of a vertically oriented bunker (6) changing at its lower part into a vertical tube (7) under which, inside the barrel, a horizontal rack (8) is located. The barrel (1) is oriented vertically with its axis parallel to the axis of the bunker (6), whereas the tube (7) is connected to the barrel (1) through the closed butt-end (5) of the latter (1). In a modified version of the device a section of the barrel (1) at its closed end (5) is shaped as two truncated cones (9, 10) consecutively located along the length of the barrel (1) and connected at their smaller bases.
