Abstract:
Provided is a developing cartridge capable of supplying a developing roller shaft with electric power using a gear cover. The developing cartridge 1 comprises: a developing roller 2, which is rotatable about a first axis A1 extending along a prescribed direction and includes the developing roller shaft 2A extending along the first axis A1; a shaft 11 extending along a prescribed direction; a detection gear 23 rotatable about the shaft 11; an electrical contact 11C positioned on the peripheral surface of the shaft 11; and a gear cover 31, which covers at least a portion of the detection gear 23 and electrically connects the electrical contact 11C to the developing roller shaft 2A.
