Abstract:
Provided is a development cartridge which makes it possible to arrange a pressing member avoiding ribs or a handle, and to press a development roller onto a photosensitive drum. In the development cartridge 1, a housing 3 is provided with: a first rib 7 which is positioned at one end in a first direction of a developer housing compartment 4, and which extends from an outer surface 6 in a second direction, the first rib 7 positioned on another side in the second direction of the developer housing compartment 4; a second rib 8 which is positioned on another end in the first direction of the developer housing compartment 4, and which extends from the outer surface 6 in the second direction, the second rib 8 positioned on the other side in the second direction of the developer housing compartment 4; a handle 5 positioned between the first rib 7 and the second rib 8 in the first direction; a first pressing member 9 which is positioned on the outer surface 6 and between the handle 5 and the first rib 7 in the first direction; and a second pressing member 10 which is positioned on the outer surface 6 between the handle 5 and the second rib 8 in the first direction.
