Abstract:
The present invention relates to the development of a novel FGF21 variant and a method for producing or purifying same. The novel FGF21 variant according to an embodiment of the present invention has signal transduction activity that is increased by a factor of about 6 compared to wild-type FGF21, and thus the variant may be evaluated as being a drug candidate having value as a biobetter.
