Abstract:
A device for absorbing an impact applied to a moving body, capable of exhibiting high impact absorbing performance for different types of collisions when the moving body collides with an obstacle, etc. A device for absorbing an impact applied to a moving body comprises a bladder (10) provided to the rear surface side of the front part of a high-strength frame (2) for an aircraft (M1). The bladder (10) is provided with a first enclosing member (11) and a second enclosing member (12) which comprise elastic bag bodies and in which a lubricating agent is enclosed. When an obstacle (X) collides with the bladder (10), the pressure induced in the lubricating agent (S) is transmitted in accordance with the Pascal's Law in such a manner that the pressure acts substantially perpendicularly to and uniformly on the boundary surfaces of the first enclosing member (11) and the second enclosing member (12). Accordingly, the device exhibits high impact absorbing performance for different types of collisions when the aircraft (M1) collides with the obstacle (X).
