Abstract:
A device (10) for acquiring an infrared biometric image and a door lock (100) having a device (10) for acquiring an infrared biometric image. The door lock (100) having a device (10) for acquiring an infrared biometric image comprises: a door (12), a door handle (14) for opening the door (12), an infrared light source (110), a sensor (120) for acquiring an infrared biometric image, and a lock controller (130). The lock controller (130) comprises a power module (132) for powering the door lock (100) having a device (10) for acquiring an infrared biometric image, a processor (134) and a non-volatile memory (136). The sensor (120) for acquiring an infrared biometric image is configured to acquire a biometric image of one or more fingers (61-64) of a user. If the acquired biometric image of the finger matches one of biometric images stored in a biometric image storage module (13626) in the lock controller (130), the lock controller (130) unlocks the door (12) by means of a lock controlling module (13624).
