Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for adjusting the length of a waist portion of bottoms, which is capable of easily adjusting the length of the waist portion of the bottoms (pants or a skirt) in correspondence to variations in body size. While the waist portion of the bottoms is divided into a front waist portion and a rear waist portion in each of both left and right sides, the front waist portion is formed overlapping an end of the rear waist portion, a guide rail in which a rack part is formed is installed on the rear waist portion, a moving member moving along the guide rail is installed on the front waist portion, so that the rear waist portion and the front waist portion are connected to each other, a latch elastically supported by a permanent elastic member and caught by the rack part is installed on the moving member, and the elastic member has a central portion wound in a coil configuration and coupled to a hinge shaft. One end extending from the central portion is bent in a shape corresponding to a pressing part to support a bottom surface of the pressing part, and the other end extending from the central portion extends in the direction of the pressing part and is then caught and fixed by a fixing piece bent from an upper side surface of the moving member towards an opening.
