Abstract:
Device for adjusting the sitting position of an automobile seat by using the pressure changes in an operating gas, which does not have a separate pump for pressurizing the gas, but which uses a pressure pump (52) of a pneumatically operated ground height controller to introduce the gas. For that purpose, an actuator (38) of a sitting position adjusting device is connected to an operating gas passage (48) of the ground height controller through an operating gas introduction passage (46). A control valve (50) is provided in the introduction passage to control the introduction of the gas. An exhaust valve (68) is also provided in the actuator to control the release of gas from the actuator.
