Abstract:
When a first semiconductor unit 7f is damaged in a manner associated with generation of a large amount of heat due to deterioration over time, the surface temperature of the damaged first semiconductor unit 7f rapidly rises. Heat generated from the first semiconductor unit 7f in this manner is immediately transmitted to a first blocking part 7g via a filling thermoconductive substance, and therefore a fusion cutting part of the first blocking part 7g melts before the raised temperature of the first semiconductor unit 7f reaches a temperature at which a combustible substance in an explosive atmosphere ignites. The first blocking part 7g blocks a supply of electric power from a battery unit. Because the heat generated from the first semiconductor unit 7f is quickly and efficiently transmitted to the first blocking part 7g through thermal conduction by the thermoconductive substance, the partially broken first semiconductor unit 7f does not reach the temperature at which a combustible substance in an explosive atmosphere ignites.
