The present invention pertains to a device for aligning and conveying articles, said device provided with a counter (3) which aligns an article group (W) consisting of a predetermined number of articles in an uncompressed state at a gathering position (P), a discharger (4) which discharges the article group (W) aligned at the gathering position (P) to a receiving position (P0), and at least one conveyance stand which receives the article group (W) at the receiving position (P0), conveys the article group to a delivery position (P1, P2), and returns to the receiving position (P0) by moving back and forth between the receiving position (P0) and the delivery position (P1, P2) while supporting the bottom surface of the article group (W), wherein the conveyance stand (L1, R1) and a second support part (20) which compresses the article group (W) are driven by first and second motors, respectively.
