Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for assaying a selectively binding substance, such as an antigen, wherein a polypeptide, such as an antibody, has been accurately immobilized to a specific site in a microchannel. Specifically disclosed is a device for assaying a selectively binding substance comprising a polypeptide that has been immobilized to a desired site in a microchannel by a covalent bond via a linker structure, wherein said polypeptide is capable of selectively binding to a substance with a biological origin and said linker has a specific chemical structure carrying a benzophenone structure moiety and a carboxyl group.
